# Migraine Mode > Chrome extension by Rodrigo Alonso (https://www.linkedin.com/in/rodraalonso/). One button (Alt+Shift+M) dims, tints (soft green by default; rose FL-41-style and amber options), darkens, freezes GIFs/animations and blocks autoplay on every site. Schedules turn it on/off by time and weekday, named presets save your own settings, and a site list sets per-site rules (always on, always off or a preset). Pricing: 1-hour free trial from install, then $3 USD/month (Stripe subscription, up to 3 browsers, cancel anytime). Every default is listed with its studies (DOI) and an evidence level at /why-these-settings/; it is a screen-comfort tool, not a medical device, and has not been clinically tested. It cannot change a monitor's real brightness, backlight or PWM.
